Modustra IQ is built around that reality instead of asking you to work around it.
Quoting sits at the centre of the product. Bills of material, labour, currency conversion, margin, and discounts are part of the quote itself, not scattered across a margin calculator, a price sheet, and three open spreadsheets. Build the quote once and the numbers behind it stay attached to it.
From there the workflow keeps going: leads and customers, order entry, invoicing, returns, and credits, with revision, drawing, and document control tracked against the products those quotes are built from. It integrates with third-party systems like QuickBooks, and includes the tools manufacturing actually needs — BOM import, STEP file viewing, and more.

Common questions
- Do I need to use every part of Modustra IQ?
- No. Sales licences cover the CRM, quoting, orders, and invoicing; production licences cover the Production Portal, BOM Explorer, and Inventory. A shop can start with sales licences alone and add production seats when the shop floor is ready.
- What do I need to run it?
- A web browser. Modustra IQ is a cloud application: there is nothing to install on a desktop or a server, and the STEP viewer runs in the browser too.
- Can catalogue products and custom builds be on the same quote?
- Yes. A quote can mix catalogue items, customised versions of them, engineering services, and fully custom builds, each costed from its own bill of materials and labour.
- Does Modustra IQ replace QuickBooks?
- No. QuickBooks stays the general ledger. Modustra IQ handles everything between winning the work and getting paid for it, then sends the invoice to QuickBooks.
