The quote is the heart of it. Bills of materials, labour, currency conversion, margin, and discounts all live inside the quote. You're not flipping between a margin calculator, a price sheet, and three other spreadsheets to put one together. Build it once, and the numbers behind it stay with it.
Around the quote you get leads and customers and, on Pro, order entry, invoicing, returns, and credits. Revisions, drawings, and documents are tracked on the products you quote. It connects to QuickBooks, and it comes with the tools a manufacturer uses every day, like BOM import and a STEP file viewer.

Common questions
- Do I need to use every part of Modustra IQ?
- No. Sales licences cover the CRM and quoting, plus orders and invoicing on Pro. Production licences cover the Production Portal, BOM Explorer, and Inventory. You can start with sales licences only and add production seats once the shop floor is ready.
- What do I need to run it?
- Just a web browser. Modustra IQ runs in the cloud, so there's nothing to install on a PC or a server. The STEP viewer runs in the browser too.
- Can catalog products and custom builds be on the same quote?
- Yes. One quote can mix catalog items, modified versions of them, engineering time, and one-off builds, and each line is costed from its own bill of materials and labour.
- Does Modustra IQ replace QuickBooks?
- No, QuickBooks stays your general ledger. Modustra IQ covers everything from winning the job to invoicing it. On Pro, invoices and credit notes are then sent to QuickBooks Online in one click; payments and bookkeeping stay in QuickBooks.
