Once a quote becomes an order, the shop needs to know what to build, by when, and where it stands. Production in Modustra IQ is built around one rule: one build per order line. Every line on every open order becomes a build with its own number, delivery date, customer, part number, quantity, and phase, so the shop floor and the sales desk are looking at the same list.
Phases are yours to define. Pre-production, procurement, in production, pre-test, final assembly, final test, QA, finished, or whatever your process actually looks like, configured once under Settings. Click a build to record its phase, delivery date, and notes. Filter by build or part number, by delivery window, or straight to what is late, at risk, or coming up.
Select the builds you are about to start and export a material requisition: the parts and quantities they need, rolled up from their bills of material, ready for purchasing or the stockroom. Behind it sit the BOM Explorer, which shows what every part in the catalog is made of, and Inventory, which tracks what is bought in and consumed making it.

Open a part to read its bill of materials, open any sub-assembly on it the same way, and click a component to see its stock: on hand, on order, committed to builds, supplier, and recent movements. Material costs only; nothing here says what a part sells for.
Inventory
What is bought in and consumed making what the business sells. On hand is the sum of every movement against an item, so a balance can always say how it got there, and the value of stock at cost sits at the top of the list.
