What is Modustra IQ?
Modustra IQ is a CRM with a light ERP layer, made for custom manufacturers. Think fabricators, machine shops, machine builders, and engineering firms: companies that sell catalog products, modified versions of them, engineering time, and one-off builds, often all on the same quote. It runs in your browser, starts at $0 a month, and connects to QuickBooks.
Everything starts with the quote. You build it from a costed bill of materials plus labour, set the currency, margin, and quantity breaks in the same place, and it remembers which revision you priced. When the customer says yes, that quote becomes an order, then a build on the shop floor, then an invoice. Nobody types anything twice.

- A CRM first. We kept the ERP side light on purpose: it takes a won quote through order entry, invoicing, returns, and credits, then passes the accounting to QuickBooks. There's no general ledger, and it isn't a full manufacturing ERP.
- How much does Modustra IQ cost?
- Lite is free. CRM and Pro are priced per seat with no base fee. CRM is $9.99 CAD a month for each sales licence. Pro adds the ERP side at $14.99 for each sales licence and $6.99 for each production licence, and once you have four or more licences of one kind, every licence of that kind drops to a lower rate. - Does Modustra IQ integrate with QuickBooks?
- Yes, with QuickBooks Online, on the Pro plan. Sending is one-way and done by hand: you pick an invoice or credit note in Modustra IQ and send it to QuickBooks in one click, so nobody re-keys it. If the customer or a part isn't in QuickBooks yet, Modustra IQ can add it there, and the taxes charged are matched to your QuickBooks tax codes. Payments, the general ledger, and the rest of the bookkeeping stay in QuickBooks. QuickBooks Desktop isn't supported.
- Is Modustra IQ available in French?
- Yes. The application is fully bilingual: each person chooses English or French, and the quotes, orders, invoices, and other documents you print or email come out in that language. The website, the terms of use, and the privacy policy are in both languages too, and you can write to us in English or French. Modustra IQ is built in Canada, for shops across Canada and the United States.
